Dr. Juan Tapia is our current master’s degree in Business Administration Program Director. He has developed a long and active professional career in Higher Education for more than thirty years. During this time, Dr. Tapia has accumulated extensive experience in instructional processes, creating new programs, curricular improvement, alignment of study programs, and programmatic, regional, national, and online accreditation processes.

Among the administrative and academic functions that Dr. Tapia has performed are Academic Dean, Dean, Campus Dean, Provost, and Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at institutions such as Florida Nacional University, URBE University, Atlantis University, and Central University, among other.

Dr. Tapia studied for a Doctorate in Education (Ph.D.) specialized in curriculum design and instruction, and Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) specialized in global management. Besides, Dr. Tapia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in strategic leadership and management and a Master of Education in Teaching Methodology. Dr. Tapia concluded specialized studies in Pedagogical Management in the Universalization of Higher Education and is a graduate of the Law School (J.D.) with a Criminal Law and Criminology specialization.

As a result of his research work, Dr. Tapia has published dozens of academic articles and published essential books within which are: “University Teaching Methodology”, “The flexible curriculum”, “Dictionary of quotes of Marti’s legal thought”, “Crimes against the administration and jurisdiction”, “Crimes against life and bodily integrity”, “Crimes against property”, among others.
