Personal Experience

Daniel Funes is the Founder of Funes Law Firm of NY, LLC, an Immigration Law Firm that concentrates on U.S. immigration and nationality law. His practice focuses on developing creative solutions for corporations and individual clients facing U.S. immigration challenges. This includes business and corporate clients, entrepreneurs, foreign investors and individual. He focuses his area of practice in L-1A, L-1B, E-1, E-2, EB-5, H-1B, asylum applications, removals and family petitions.

Mr. Funes provides both short-term and long-term strategic immigration guidance in the employer/employee relationship, as well as individual immigration matters. This involves helping clients navigate U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and asylum and family immigration matters.

Mr. Funes’s own immigration background and experience in business and entrepreneurship allow him to provide clients with a valuable perspective on immigration strategies for business and investment. After earning a BBA in Business Administration, he worked as a financial advisor with Raymond James Financial and Citibank.

Membership and Activities

During law school, Mr. Funes focused on business and immigration law, and was the president and co-founder of Hispanic American Law Student Association (HALSA) and served as Senator for the Student Bar Association. He served as student representative for the Immigration Law Clinic and worked on appeals of immigration cases in the U.S. Immigration Court.
