5. Adobe Audition

Rental Fee

The UIC Audio Studio is available for rent to the general public at an hourly rent of $60. Studio can be rented with or without audio technician. Production crews who have previous experience with audio equipment will not need an audio technician for sessions. Rental fee is accounted for the entire use of the studio and is only rented by the hour.

Audio Technician

The audio technician will support all the audio requirements of the production of audio podcast/recording while rental time. The audio technician will support equipment and audio production needs. Technician is not hired for editing purposes but strictly to ensure that audio is recorded with ideal level and in the proper platform and software. The Hourly Rate of the Audio Technician is $80.

Audio Studio Training

The Audio Training is available to production crews interested in learning to monitor the audio equipment of the studio. This training will enable the customer to operate the equipment and Adobe Audition software. Clients will not require the support of an audio technician in future recording sessions. The Audio training consists of the following:

1.5 hrs of training
Overview of Audio Console
Overview of Microphones
Overview of recording protocol
Adobe Audition Tutorial
Intro to Podcast distribution

Audio Studio Training is available for a one time rate of $150.00. UIC reserves the right to decide wether the audio training is a good option for the customer for the use of the studio.
