Stan grew up between Norfolk, Virginia and Boston, Massachusetts as his Father was career Navy retired RMC – 23 year’s. Stan is the oldest of 5 children and early on he learned to give back working with his Mother who besides raising 5 children worked as a fundraiser for the March of Dimes. Many nights and weekends when not babysitting Stan went with his Mother to assist other Mom’s whose Husbands were deployed in order to help them with their newborns and siblings. After his Father retired, Stan spent many nights and weekends with his Father and various veteran organizations like the VFW, American Legion and DAV visiting the VA Hospitals, military hospitals and rehabilitation centers assisting returning Vietnam Vets and their families.

After graduating high school in 1972, Stan attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy where he graduated with a BS degree in Marine and Mechanical Engineering, Certification in LNG/LPG Carriers, received his USCG Engineering License – Unlimited Horsepower Steam and Diesel Propulsion and was commissioned as an Officer in the US Naval Reserve. Later he received his Masters in Business Administration from the New York institute of Technology.

Stan spent the early part of his career as a design and application engineer for the Ingersoll Rand Company – Pump and Condenser Division attached to Ingalls and Avondale Shipbuilding for the US Navy then worked in the oil, Petro-chemical, pulp and paper industries as a Senior Sales Engineer. Moving on he owned and operated his own Specialty Pump Company where he was instrumental in developing a non-metallic pump, pipe and coating which he later sold and worked for AW Chesterton as a Global Product Manager. His world travels resulted in becoming an International Business Consultant from which he retired. After a short retirement where he of coached and umpired baseball, Stan went back to Consulting landing in the Automotive Industry. During this time he was introduced to Rita and Rick Case where he is employed today as the National Director of Community Affairs and VIP Program.

Throughout his life, as childhood, Stan has dedicated himself to giving back especially where there is a need to service children, veterans and their direct family members. Stan is the President of the Prestige Club a non-profit which assists children in need, a Board Member of Brady’s Heroes which assists children and veterans in need, one of the Founders of Honor Flight South Florida whose mission is to make sure every able WWII Veteran sees the monument in Washington dedicated to their service and sacrifice to the USA and he is on the City of Sunrise Advisory Board which assists active and former military residents in the City of Sunrise with all programs that can better serve them and their families.

In 2013 Stan received the Presidential Community Service Award from President Obama for his dedication and service to the communities of our Nation, in 2014 Community Service Award from the Freedoms Veterans of America for his work in charitable causes for military personnel and their families and Recognition from the Combined Joint Task Force Regional Command Kandahar Afghanistan for his support and service to veterans with PTSD and TBI.

With an 18 handicap it tells you that Stan does not get to play as much golf as he would like but when not out on a mission for children and veterans he is home with Diana and their two Daughters out of seven children Beau, Lauren, Justin, Tyler, Daniel, Monica and Natalie.
